Item 8.01. Other Events.
On Effective February 1, 2021, Heat Biologics, Inc. (the Company) has engaged CRS Crossroads Strategies, LLC (CRS), a bipartisan government relations firm based in Washington DC, to assist in advancing government collaborations related to the Companys COVID-19 and other vaccine programs.
CRS brings relationships with members of the U.S. Congress and senior White House and Administration officials, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
